Responsibilities include the design and draft of structural components of a project. Secondly, estimating and preparing BOQ (bill of quantities) and BBS (bar bending schedule) and liaising with local contractors about the structural drawings and specifications published.

Responsible for planning, design, and calculation of structures and preparing structural drawings for construction. Worked as a lead structural engineer during the design development of the Pakistan Pavilion for Venice Design Biennale 2018. Recently completed the design of a basement + ground + 3 story’s Beach Hut without beams, constituting only of columns and slab, located in Hawks-Bay, Karachi

The project included structural design and construction of 12 feet deep irregular shape swimming pool with a Jacuzzi. Scope of work included design, construction, and waterproofing of RCC structure, provision and fixing of pool tiles with other detailing as required, development of deck area, construction of pool equipment room. Primary duties involved; estimating material, construction, and labor costs. Evaluating, organizing, and prioritizing work within the overall project schedule.

Assisted engineers on several residential and industrial projects, practiced on hand calculations of different structural components of a Building like Columns, Beams, and Slabs, gained experience in blueprint reading as well as preparation of drawings and maps, and carried out the design and preparation of structural drawings of several residential as well as commercial projects personally.
