Topic: Modelling Li-ion battery to explore the feasibility for a hybrid battery system (24V and 48V). Thesis aims at modelling of LiFePO4 & NMC cells on MATLAB and testing (using BASYTEC) for new hybrid products: -Develop 2RC model to formulate the BMS algorithms and compare its accuracy with test results. -Obtain dependence of ‘usable SOC’ and ‘Cycle life’ on temperature for Li ion battery. -Investigate the impact of continuous performance at low SOC range (0%-33%) of Li batteries on their ageing.

Development of BMS algorithms and Test Bench for Hybrid Storage Solutions

Software and Hardware development of Test bench for Off grid Renewable Solar Energy Products using Eagle and Embedded C. Designing of Test Procedures and carrying them out for comparing our products with other potential products. Designing various PCBs and testing them under normal and Extreme conditions. Carrying out literature reviews regarding recent developments in Battery Technology and got opportunity to visit InterSolar Munich.
