As a senior software engineer I was involved in the following tasks Model Development, Powertrain component level modelling and Validation, HiL Calibration, HiL Testing, HiL Support, Lab Management, Wiring Harness Design, Electrostatic Discharge Co-ordinator. Some key achievements include the building of a self organizing community implementing an E2.0 concept using IBM connections. Creation , maintenance and moderation of close 50+ wiki pages and 6 forums on hybrid electric vehicles.

Basic Responsibilities included Test Bench Model Development, DcDc converter model enhancement and migration Rapid prototyping , HiL Calibration systems , Wiring Harness design , BOM. Key achievements include developing a cost saving model of upto 15, 000 euros per procured system through identification of local vendors, efficient alternatives for BreakOut Boxes, Wiring harnesses and Real Time PCs.

Set up a complete ETAS HiL system used to test Hybrid Powertrain ,Worked on ETAS LabDrives extensively and built tools peripheral to the HiL systems that tested and verified the functionality of HiL systems .

As a Research Assistant I was responsible for modelling induction machines and conduct research on the possibility of using it as a potential power conversion module . I performed detailed investigations on the skin and proximity based losses and their effects on the performance of copper and aluminium rotor machines .Day to day tasks involved using Matlab and Simulink to do machine modelling.
