Modified and value-engineered industrial sheet metal enclosures and rack systems in compliance with ISO standards and ASME Y14.5 GD&T, delivering fabrication-ready drawings optimized for laser cutting, bending, and assembly using DFM/DFA principles. Designed welded frame assemblies and structural racks with controlled tolerances and joint design, validated through SolidWorks FEA to ensure structural integrity while maintaining form-fit-function and compatibility with existing assemblies.

Took mechanical designs from concept to prototype for STEAM products, translating ideas into buildable parts across metal and MDF. Led hands-on prototyping and design iterations with senior developers, closing gaps between design intent and manufacturability.

I customize product cover models in SolidWorks based on customer requirements, ensuring leeway in cut pieces for accurate final products. I create mockups to help customers visualize the outcome and understand their needs through feedback and calls to tailor the product accordingly. Additionally, I am proficient in using Magento software.

Responsible for sheet metal design, including equipment, jigs, and fixtures, while ensuring product quality through testing for customer compliance. Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and follow design guidelines to prevent defects. Document differences between old and new drawings. Design sheet metal parts with tooling considerations like undercuts, sliders, and lifters, utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for effective project management.
