-Designed, executed and troubleshot in vivo behavioral studies in mice, including surgeries, drug administration (s.c., i.p., i.v.), behavioral assays, dose-response studies, ELISA, Western Blot & IHC. -Authored scientific manuscripts; presented at national & international conferences; served as a peer reviewer for international journals. -Engaged in scientific collaborations with clinicians, bridging fundamental research with potential clinical applications. -Supervised and mentored undergraduate students

• Advised the Ministry of Health on the inclusion and exclusion of medications from the mandatory institutional medication list, based on extensive clinical and preclinical literature reviews. Created summary reports of all available scientific evidence for specific medications to be included/excluded from the public health care system • As part of a team, contributed to the development of nationwide pharmacovigilance policies and guidelines, which were non-existent in El Salvador at the time

• Working in a small pharmaceutical company, coordinated the sanitary registration of pharmaceutical products with the drug regulatory governmental agencies of El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica • Acted as regulatory affairs and pharmacological consultant for the research and development of new pharmaceutical products within our company. • Participated in quality control of the drug manufacturing process, focusing on design and approval of primary and secondary packaging of medications
