Contributing to the development of a simulation-based digital twin as test environment for CT product development. Responsible for simulation architecture and behavior modelling. Developing approved test tool for global manufacturing sites. Supporting extended test capacity as well as early integration, contributing to enhanced product quality and rollout speed.

Led and contributed to innovation projects and publicly funded projects in technology field Simulation and Digital Twin. Developed technologies for simulation-based engineering and simulation-assisted system operation across manufacturing, medical imaging, and infrastructures and implemented corresponding software prototypes and models. Drove development and industrial adoption of simulation-based methods combined with machine learning.

Managed and executed R&D projects and led the successful acquisition of a publicly funded project. Worked on model-based condition monitoring using virtual sensors as well as on CAE-based design optimization focusing on automation and considering manufacturing process information.

Led and contributed to innovation projects focusing on the development of simulation-based engineering technologies (e.g. tool coupling and co-simulation), as well as modeling and simulation technologies for urban and plant infrastructures (e.g. desalination, traffic).
