Appliv is an app review app (sounds tongue twister right!). I was responsible to work on the iOS engineering team with my fellow Japanese iOS engineers/ API developers and Designers to constantly sue the latest technology like [migration to swift2, use of new APIs]. The app has a 5 million user base. In the entire company, I was the second foreigner. It was a real challenge in terms of language, punctuality and culture. I learned a lot about the way Japanese people effectively work.
