As a research assistant, I worked on leveraging the Big-data from Finite Element simulations to reduce the solution processing time of a computationally expensive Numerical simulation. By employing a powerful Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) technique, I was able to realize a reduced order model for which the processing time was 90% lesser. This solution technique helps in performing real-time simulations of highly complex FEM problems at lower computation time.
