Responsible for product UI & UX, also HTML/CSS slicing for the development teams. Working closely with the Product Managers in order to constantly improve the look and feel of our products.

Short description starting June 2011 Leading the web-design team in order to deliver quality code and design concepts for the development teams and marketing department. I manage a team of 3 junior and senior web designers with 1 to 4 years experience. The team main goal is to constantly improve the customer experience and also adapting the website look and feel to the latest trends. I’m also participating with new improvements and I try to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.

During these 7 months my main responsibility was to design and implement new promotional banners, newsletters, flash banners and presentations for the company products. Also new functional modules for the front-end user and front-view alterations in order to increase the customer experience. For implementations I had to adapt the code for a smarty template engine. All the website pages had to be adapted for the major browsers at that time including IE6.

Working at Macrosoftware was a real challenge at that time because of the company’s mainactivity: delivering online solutions for various customers with various needs. At that time we hadto use CMS software in order to deliver sophisticated websites for customers, software like: Joomla, Magento, Zen Cart, Prestashop, Wordpress and others. As for the design he had to be unique and according to the client specifications.

When I started working at UltraPro Computers I had few knowledge of HTML/CSS and Flash. During the 1year and 1 month period I gained a lot of experience in software and programming languages like: Swish and later Adobe Suite including Flash, HTML/CSS and for a short time I had to implement new modules in a JSP custom-made platform. My main activities and responsibilities were web design and maintenance (www.ultrapro.ro / www.upshop.ro) , flash design & animations, marketing campaigns, promo materials.

Main activity was to add new banners to website, banners that contained promotional offers and events. During the short period of time I started building two websites, one for a travel company and one for a mobile communications provider (ZAPP).
