Clarification/definition of projects scope (customer needs, project content, delivery timelines), costs and responsibilities between customer, Nortel technical delivery teams and third party vendors. - Support the management in the VoIP team organization: VoIP engineering mandate, engineering deliverables and processes. - Misc: LTE RFQ technical coordination. Sales support for consultancy services definition.

- Business consultancy for Vodafone UK : audit of existing network (interview of technical, operational and financial managers), submission of design and quotation exercise to HNS/Nokia, technical & financial analysis (CAPEX/OPEX) of existing microwave network versus PMP, presentation of results to VF UK executives. - 3G consultancy for Alcatel-Lucent: organization of workshops for Bouygues Telecom on the impact of HSUPA on UTRAN performances, on Iu/Iur interfaces dimensioning and ATM configuration.

- Network performance monitoring, QoS/capacity optimization missions: O2 Germany (Iub/Iu QoS/capacity monitoring, trouble-shooting and optimization), Orange France (impact of new UTRAN release on performances; find the best parameters settings to maximize HSDPA user throughput and lower the impact on delay sensitive services). - Leading a team of technical experts across multiple countries to develop the technical readiness to sell QoS/capacity optimization

- Transport dimensioning and features engineering prime: definition of ATM dimensioning guidelines and tools, advisor for R&D/Product Marketing about new features definition and interaction, quantification of Nortel solution differentiators compared to competition, contribution to demonstrations to promote Nortel product strengths. - HSDPA design engineering prime. Participation to network design workshops for major customers on the impact of HSDPA introduction. Support to trials.

- Support to RFI/RFQ responses and business cases for major customers on the following technologies: GSM/GPRS/UMTS on Access, Core Network and Transmissions. Technical support during presales negotiations. - System and product technical studies. Specification of a GPRS system simulator developed under OPNET. - Creation of dimensioning guidelines. Specification of UTRAN presales design tools used worldwide within Nortel. Participation to customer workshops and international forums.

- Operation and maintenance of NSS in Egypt. Configuration and launch of new MSC & HLRs. Launch of international roaming and GSM data services. -Local engineering team training and leading
