-- Method development on Thermofisher Q-Exactive Plus -- LCMS quantification of neuronal proteins in patient serum

I have been working as a postdoc in proteomics core facility in Medical University of Vienna. I am involved in EU project ‘‘High Speed Proteomics Analysis: Solving the bottlenecks of proteomics technologies for time sensitive proteome driven medical decisions’’. I set up a specific LCMS system from scratch, performed method development for protein online digestion on immobilized monolithic enzymatic reactors and applied biological samples on the system.

I worked as a postdoc at Pediatrics Department in Medical University of Vienna, and performed brain proteomic research, studying protein changes and modifications associated with learning and memory in mouse brain. For protein identification and characterization, I used different LCMS systems including Dionex Ultimate Nano HPLC, Bruker Ultraflex, Applied Biosystems Qstar XL, Bruker HCT ETD and Bruker HCT ETDII, Thermo Orbittrap XL.
