Responsible for the implementation of Thaketa 50MW gas fired (gas engine) power plant in Yangon/Myanmar. This was the first implementation of a privately owned power plant in Myanmar. Coordination with the customer, subcontractor management -Civil works as well as EPC and gas plant contracts were locally awarded, purchasing of local supplies as well as setting up an operational team to take over the operation of the plant were the main tasks in a very challenging work environment.
