The project aims to resolve obstacles in automotive high-pressure fuel pump development process digitalization - real-world physics CFD modelling of pressure wave, cavitation, and thermal hydraulics. The development of a complex real-world physics multiphase model and a simulation tool suitable for the engineering analysis would reduce the needs of prototype hardware manufacturing and tests in product engineering, and use simulations to support knowledge-driven product development.
