Dr. Yi (Estelle) Wang

Working as a Team lead for Security & Privacy Competence Center at Singapore Continental Automotive Singapore. Currently, she is leading three teams focusing on automotive advanced research projects, consultant projects for business units and security operations e.g. threat intelligence and incidence response. Dr. Wang is honored with “Top 30 Women in Security ASEAN 2021” and “Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity Singapore 2020” with more than 47 papers, and 11 industrial patents.

I am leading a research team at Singapore focusing on emerging automotive security topics, such as automotive Ethernet security, security for AI, post quantum cryptography for embedded systems, and vulnerability analysis for binary code/source code. I am also leading the regulations and standardizations of Cybersecurity in APAC (Singapore, China, Japan, Korea), understanding the upcoming standard: ISO/SAE 21434and UNECE WP29. I am familiar with ISO 2700x, ISO 26262, SAE J3061, HEAVENS，EVITA，etc.

Researches on future secure vehicular applications and communications; Security testing consultant for automotive applications; Security technical consultant for internal business units and external OEMs; Collaborations with worldwide universities and research institutes on automotive Cybersecurity topics; Involving and participating in automotive cyber security standardization (UNECE WG and ISO/SAE WG), especially in Chinese Cybersecurity standardization (Chinese ICV Cybersecurity WG).

Embedded security for vehicular applications.

Involves in the secure large scale storage network project with DSI A*star to develop the secure strategy and analysis for SAN system. Mainly focused on power analysis attack to masked cryptographic algorithms and ASIP accelerating for cryptographic algorithms.

Responsible for FPGA based cryptographic algorithm design and implementations, side channel attack for cryptographic algorithms.

Mainly working on Cryptography in hardware including speed up the algorithm design and side channel attacks for public key cryptosystem.
