Worked in System Concept Engineering team • Studied and implemented various controllers for improving input current quality of PFC boost • Designed an innovative digital control method for PF and THD optimization of AC/DC quasi-resonant boost converters for LED drivers and AC adapters, compliant with IEC 61000-3-2 • Developed fixed-point arithmetic code for in-house DSP and implemented on an embedded power application after performing suitable unit tests

Worked in Beam Loss section within Beams department • Studied electrical hardware installation at different LHC points • Modelled ionization chambers, transmission lines and grounding of LHC points in Pspice • Identification of anomalies in high voltage biasing supply and leakage current

• Devised a novel digital controller for multi-mode Quasi Resonant PFC ac-dc Boost Converter capable of bus voltage regulation • Designed a 30 W dc-dc SEPIC for an LED Driver to meet the available system current, voltage and power requirements • Designed and implemented a proof-of-concept system for dimming LEDs • Completed electrical characterization of under production LED Drivers and A/D Converter (ADC) for various operating conditions, and helped in documenting Application Notes for these products
