At NetApp, I implemented a Proof-of-Concept for Unified Manager backup/ restore using NetApp Snapshot technology, as well as for Disaster Recovery. The POC demonstrated that a backup could be performed in a matter of seconds, in comparison to the present solution which took hours. My efforts were appreciated and was awarded the NetApp Spot Award.

I was part of a lean startup comprised of 4 people developing Firewall/NAS/VPN as a product for SOHO and Small-Medium Industries. Keeping to a true startup culture, the roles were very flexible and necessitated juggling multiple tasks. Apart from feature enhancement and automation, I also handled customer support as well as the occasional inventory management.
