Building a VA/VM (Vulnerability Assessment / Vulnerability Management) SAAS application. Working with Scala 2.12, Kafka, Flink 1.18.1, deploying on AWS, Kubernetes with Flink-Operator 1.7, Prometheus & Grafana. My Duties included: 1. Designing & implementing the Apache-Flink Jobs with Scala code. Leading the code end-to-end delivery. 2. Creating the Jira stories for the designs, breaking them to tasks, sub-tasks.

Led a feature-team that developed a SAAS system for the insurance sector that leverages drivers' unique driving characteristics to deliver personalized campaigns. Backend code was written in Scala. Control plane based on Akka (Akka Typed, Akka Http). Data plane based on Flink Jobs written in Scala, SQL. System built in a microservices & reactive architecture on top of Kafka. Deployed on Amazon EKS, EMR, MSK.

I designed and built a service for launching and monitoring Flink jobs, following a proof of concept to test Flink's functional suitability vis-à-vis the product vision and plans. As the project grew, I also conducted technical interviews as part of the group's recruitment process.
