We had a great opportunity to work on Sybase replication and direct connect setup and Golden Gate replication. My roles and responsibilities in this project involved Installation, up-gradation, building the data warehouse from scratch, data loading, data partitioning and performance tuning.

• Installation, maintenance and tuning of Oracle 10g RAC databases including ASM and CRS. • Performed upgrades from Oracle 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.3 on Intel and HP boxes. • Setup, configured and maintained oracle data guard (primary and standby databases) to ensure disaster recovery, high availability and data protection. • Personally responsible for performance, backup and recovery related issues of over 56 databases with 11 production, 23 development and 22 QA databases.
