Philips C-arm device is a 3D X-ray imaging device which is used in cluttered environments which creates risk of collision during medical scans. This project presents a collision prediction and avoidance system which aims to enhance the usability of scans. A 3D representation of the environment is generated using a depth camera to detect collisions and a motion planner is designed to avoid predicted collisions. System applicability and feasibility is experimentally validated
