I am working on multiscale modelling of ferroelectric materials, with and without point defects, as well as ferroelectric thin films. My main interest lies in bridging molecular dynamics simulations and continuum phase-field models by extracting physically meaningful parameters from atomistic data. The methodology includes both traditional bottom-up multiscale approaches and emerging Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs).

My primary research focused on the system-level design of a radioisotope battery. The project was inherently interdisciplinary, spanning heat transfer, semiconductor-based energy conversion (thermoelectric conversion), nuclear science and radiation shielding, and structural/topology optimization. Throughout the project, I became proficient in COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB for multiphysics modeling and scientific computing.
