Your responsibilities
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
The research topics include the synthesis and characterization of novel colloidal nanoparticles (magnetic, plasmonic, or photoluminescent) and/or their assembly into microscopic and macroscopic functional superstructures.
Examples of microscopic superstructures include multifunctional magnetic or optical objects in solution, with potential applications in nanobiomedicine.
Examples of macroscopic superstructures are optically active new aerogel materials with potential applications in photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, and sensing.
Investigations of structure-property relationships using modern analytical techniques (such as optical spectroscopy, electrochemistry, spectroelectrochemistry, porosimetry, magnetometry, and electron microscopy) provide insights into the connection between the nano- and microstructure and the resulting material properties.
Your profile
A university degree in a relevant field.
Prior knowledge in nanochemistry, electrochemistry, optical spectroscopy and/or magnetometry is desirable.
We offer
