For our Group Human Resources Department , we are looking for a (Senior) Compensation & Benefits Expert (f/m/d).
The position is based at our Headquarters in Heidelberg Germany and reports directly to the Head of Compensation & Benefits.
Your work will directly contribute to shaping a fair, transparent, and future-ready compensation landscape across our global organization.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Pay Transparency
You coordinate the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive across the organization
You work closely with colleagues in other EU countries to ensure a harmonized and effective approach
You co-create implementation concepts with key departments such as Recruiting, Communications, and Legal to ensure practical and aligned solutions
You design training and communication materials for line managers and employees in close collaboration with HR Business Partners
You help shape and maintain a clear grading framework and transparent salary structures that support fairness and career development
Managing Board Remuneration
You prepare decision documents for the Supervisory Board and the Managing Board in close collaboration with the Group Director HR and the Head of Compensation & Benefits
You contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Managing Board’s remuneration system, ensuring it remains competitive and aligned with best practice
You contribute to the annual preparation of the remuneration report of Heidelberg Materials
YOUR PROFILE
You have 3+ years of experience in the field of Compensation & Benefits or Human Resources (consulting or industry)
knowledge of common grading frameworks (e.g. WTW, Mercer) is an asset
You are a team player who enjoys collaborating in an inclusive and trusting working environment
You work with a pronounced analytical and quality mindset
You are proactive, well-organized, and able to work independently
You are proficient in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
You communicate fluently in both English and German
