Your Responsibilities
The Human Resources division at ISTA provides comprehensive support to all employees (scientists, colleagues in administrative and scientific support), guided by modern and forward looking HR practices. As a growing international research campus, ISTA places strong emphasis on the continuous professional development of its non-scientific staff and leaders, who play a key role in enabling excellent research. Therefore, we are looking for a committed and experienced Learning & Development Specialist. In this role, you will actively shape and further advance core personnel development & talent management topics for non-scientific staff, contributing to a sustainable learning culture. The position combines conceptual work with hands-on implementation and offers interesting scope for design and innovation.
- Further develop, coordinate, and implement the annual in-house training program for non-scientific staff, aligned with organizational needs and future skill requirements
- Identify learning needs and translate them into new learning formats and content, including digital and blended approaches in close cooperation with internal stakeholders (e.g. IT & Digital Transformation)
- Proactively drive the development of new concepts in Talent and Competency Management
- Take responsibility for selected elements of the leadership development portfolio
- Further develop and coordinate the onboarding program, ensuring a consistent and engaging start at ISTA
- Act as a sparring partner for internal stakeholders on learning and development topics
- Contribute to HR projects within the unit (e.g. intranet, further development and digitalization of appraisal interviews)
Your Profile
- Completed relevant education, preferably with a specialization in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field; Trainer certification/experience is an advantage
- Proven experience in designing and implementing training programs and learning formats for diverse target groups (incl. e-learning)
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills combined with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude
- High level of initiative, structured working style, and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English and German
- Experience in leadership development and coaching is a plus
- Experience in an international and/or academic environment is an advantage
