What you can expect

You will play a key role between technical leadership and strategic customer consulting. You will work closely with our customer teams, account management and development management to create technically excellent and commercially viable solutions for our customers

Your tasks

Technical consulting & strategy

• You are responsible for the tech roadmap of strategic customers - from system selection to architecture planning and implementation
• You advise customers on technical issues, develop requirements and carry out system selections and evaluations
• You design robust, scalable and secure software solutions
• You identify technological opportunities and potential for improvement in existing systems
• You support the estimation, proposal preparation and capacity planning of projects

• You take over the disciplinary leadership of a development team and take care of well-being, utilization and further development
• You conduct regular employee and development meetings
• You are the first point of escalation for your team and are always at the side of your team members
• You actively participate in recruiting and help shape the team composition

• You observe current tech trends, pilot new technologies and bring them into the organization
• You design and conduct internal and external workshops and training courses
• You contribute to visibility as the technical face of the agency (presentations, specialist articles, meetups)

Your profile

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• At least 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years in a management or consulting role
• Broad technical knowledge: Backend (PHP, Symfony/Laravel, Node.js), frontend (Vue.js/React, Nuxt.js/Next.js), cloud platforms, API integrations
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Pimcore, WordPress or Kirby - ideally headless setups
• Ability to present complex technical concepts in an understandable way for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong evaluation skills for technology stacks
• Experience in leading and mentoring developers
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• Persuasiveness in technical discussions - Leadership through professional charisma
• German (min. C1), English (B2+)
