Tasks

As a ML Engineer, you will be responsible for handling and evolving our machine learning pipeline and will help to develop innovative, data-driven applications for the tourism industry. You will work on our machine learning models, and continuously expand and improve the foundation for our machine learning applications, contributing significantly to the success of Pricenow.

• You will lead the integration, optimization, and orchestration of machine learning models to enhance forecasting capabilities in various applications, particularly dynamic pricing
• You shape the structure and schema of our machine learning landscape and are responsible for evolving the architecture of our end-to-end pipelines, with a strong focus on automation, reproducibility, and scalability
• You are heavily involved in the decision-making process of our data-driven visions

Requirements

• Professional experience as a ML engineer (at least 3 years)
• University degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or similar field
• Comprehensive understanding and confident handling of end-to-end machine learning processes, as well as software engineering capabilities to build and maintain machine learning pipelines in Python
• Strong analytical and statistical skills to understand and justify model choices and optimizations
• Experience with CI/CD and Cloud Computing
• Deep understanding of ML Ops principles and tools for automating the machine learning lifecycle
• Experience with experiment tracking, model serving and inference pipelines
• Preferable: Experience in time-series forecasting, reinforcement learning, recommender systems
• Preferable: Experience with Orchestrator Tools (e.g. Argo), as well as Data Warehousing
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects, in multidisciplinary, multi-country and multi-cultural working environments
• You are a team player who is passionate about innovation and agility as well as working in a self-organized manner from the idea to successful implementation
• You are fluent in English, German is an advantage
