My client is looking for a Senior Application Engineer in Marin, Switzerland.

The role:
- Train the FAE team and direct customer support
- Advanced wireless application development (Bluetooth Low energy including hardware software and test aspects).
- Define application-specific PSP (demo kit, specific SDK, and demo cases)
- Competition analysis - benchmarking
- Interface with business unit R&D in coordination with the PM to develop specific features needed for advanced use cases.
- Support deployment of advanced application use cases
- Definition and progress reviews with the Product Manager.
- Reporting: Weekly, monthly, and quarterly report as required
- Team Meetings: Weekly, monthly, and quarterly report as required

The Requirements:
- Experience of advanced applications development and integration for specific hardware platforms.
- Firmware development experience for radio controllers and stack-based embedded systems.
- Hardware design skills with electronic lab and troubleshooting experiences.
- Specific knowledge related to wireless protocols: BLE, 802.15.4, and proprietary protocols.
- Strong ownership with troubleshooting ability
- Teamwork spirit with a cooperative attitude
- Able to articulate required information convincingly, clearly & smartly to the audience
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to manage customer-facing situations

The Skills:
- Computer engineering degree from any university
- Minimum 8 years experience in embedded software development
- Software development language: C/C++, Assembly, Python
- Knowledge about RTOS or equivalent real-time task scheduler
- Write application code to test driver development (radio, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, Timers, RTC…)
