Senior Head of Solution Design (all gender)
These are your tasks:
- Set the Solution Design Strategy: You define global frameworks, reference architectures, and design principles to ensure standardized, modular solutions that comply with interoperability and cybersecurity requirements. You drive scalable, repeatable, and cost-efficient solution designs worldwide
- Lead Customer Solutioning: You translate customer needs into complete Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) architecture and integration into customer IT/OT systems. You support Sales and Key Account teams in defining competitive solution architectures and technical win strategies
- Ensure Portfolio Integration: You drive consistently integration of meters, connectivity, platforms, and services into customer solutions. Collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback on portfolio gaps, technical constraints, and required roadmap enhancements. Ensure alignment of solution design principles with the AMI 2.0 product and solution roadmap.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: You act as the architectural bridge between Sales, Product Management, Services, Development, and Delivery teams to strengthen solution readiness and customer satisfaction.
- Build Leadership & Future Readiness: You lead a global team of Solution Architects and Solution Managers, develop capabilities in IoT/cloud architecture and cybersecurity, and stay ahead of emerging technologies to shape AMI 2.0.
Who we are looking for:
- You have a university degree in engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related field and proven experience in AMI/IoT/Smart Energy solutions, including meters, connectivity, HES, MDM, cloud platforms, APIs, and integration concepts.
- You have expertise in solution design, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales — ideally in smart metering, IoT, utilities, telecommunications, or cloud-based platforms.
- You have excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills within global and cross-functional teams.
- You have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, and excellent spoken and written English skills (French or German is a plus).
