PreDoc (all gender) with a focus on "Applied Rehabilitation Research"

At the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Rehabilitation Research (LBI-RR), we study what makes rehabilitation most effective in real-world practice. We combine clinical routine data with scientific evidence to understand which patients benefit most from which interventions, and how to improve quality, satisfaction, and efficiency in rehabilitation.

What you can achieve with us

• Support the planning, implementation, and documentation of rehabilitation-related interventions
• Critically appraise scientific literature and contribute to manuscripts, reports, and peer-reviewed publications
• Provide coordination and hands-on support for research activities across rehabilitation services and partner organisations

What you bring to the role

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., physiotherapy, sport and exercise science, etc.)
• A structured, meticulous way of working and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Reliability , initiative, curiosity , flexibility, and willingness to travel
• Strong digital literacy (especially MS Office) and very good German and English (written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge of statistics and data management , plus initial experience with academic work and/or conducting literature reviews
