As a
Supervisor (New Engines - LEAP)
you will act as Supervisor within the engine shop operational organization supporting Disassembly, Assembly and Inspection Area for LEAP engines. As such: onboarding and leading people; develop, implement, and manage processes; coordinate projects and tasks to achieve the goals and targets of the organization.
Your tasks
- Lead and manage a multicultural team, fostering performance, engagement, and a positive work environment
- Plan and allocate resources based on workload, assign tasks, and monitor team efficiency and productivity
- Support shop floor optimization, including layout planning and implementation (equipment, tools, workspaces)
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring implementation of corrective actions and compliance improvements
- Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle support, including participation in recruitment, onboarding, and shop floor integration
- Manage training, OJT, qualification, and certification processes, including performance evaluation and development planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, 5S standards, and Performance Management Processes (PMP), while developing succession plans (e.g., supervisor deputy) to ensure operational continuity
Your Profile
- Completed 4-year technical apprenticeship with solid experience in Engine MRO
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, including proven leadership/management responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with English proficiency at minimum B2 level
- Good understanding of operational processes and higher-level interdependencies within manufacturing environments
- Proactive, independent, and self-initiated working style with high performance drive
- Solid IT skills, including SAP R/3, with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement initiatives
