• Hardware development in line with European standards and directives. -Design of SMPS circuits, EMC filters, gate driver circuits etc. • Support development of motor control algorithms for compressors integrated with IPM synchronous motors • Designing drive schematics and PCB layout considering the EMC requirements • EMC testing and troubleshooting -Experience in using EMC test equipment like EMI receivers', function generators, coupling networks, near field probes etc.

• Design of the grid emulator for a 4 MW test bench • Development of Model Predictive Control (MPC) algorithm for the grid emulator controller • Modelling in Matlab/Simulink and PLECS. Implementation of control algorithm using C • Implementation of Proportional Resonant (PR) controller • Comparison between the MPC and the Cascaded control

• Thermal and EMC testing of 6 kw grid connected inverter • Fault analysis and Trouble shooting • Design of the linear power supplies • Statistical calculations to determine Cosmic ray induced failure rates for the diodes inside a PV array • Practical experience in power electronics laboratory with different inverter topologies for solar energy.
