Project: the role of HDAC5 in transcriptional reprogramming during tumorigenesis. • Generated expression constructs for functional studies of HDAC5: DNA isolation, cloning and plasmid preparation. • Molecular biology and sequence verification supporting the group's work on epigenetic regulation in cancer. • Position funded by the CSIR Junior Research Fellowship.

• Screened and triaged 40+ phytocompounds against three molecular targets using defined selection criteria; five leads prioritised for follow-up. • Computational screening workflow: homology modelling and molecular docking.
