Kanchana Foundation established in January 2010, is a charitable trust that promotes education as a sustainable means to empower underprivileged children. The Foundation believes that education is the means of ensuring a sustainable social and economic progress of India. Hence the focus is to provide quality education and also means to achieve the excellence in education among children of rural and remote regions.

I have co-founded this start-up company along with two CEO's managing their independent companies. Responsible for complete product development, R and D, engineering, manufacturing of a novel electronic hand held device. Managing the manufacturing and outsourcing process to India from Germany.

Research and thesis work on Photonic Crystals and dynamic Photonics. Tools used in the research work are: meep, CST Microwave Studio. The research was published in IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?arnumber=6177210)

As part of my internship for my Masters studies, the work at Brose involves feasibility study (cost, technology) and technology proposal for the next generation electronic control systems.

As a trainee for one week at this institution, under the public law of Free and Hanseatic state of Hamburg, worked with social management. The activities involved were towards the refugees and house less people in Germany. The training was as a part of Seitenwechsel program (http://www.seitenwechsel.com/) from Patriotische Gesellschaft von 1765, Hamburg (www.patriotische-gesellschaft.de)

As a system design engineer for the embedded electronic system for diesel fuel injection (Common rail)/ engine management systems, was responsible for conceptualizing, designing and testing of the engine and automotive functions. This involved extensive interactions with auto manufacturers from European and Asian Markets.
