My responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of allocated PV Sites, managing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities, as well as analyzing performance to enhance operations.

GPM a DNV Company: Using real-time data and years of operational experience, combined with the extensive engineering expertise of GPM/DNV, empowers users to make faster and more informed decisions to enhance the energy production of their photovoltaic portfolios. The algorithms developed by the domain knowledge team enable users to operate PV plants more efficiently, reducing the man-hours required for site management and improving predictive maintenance. As a result, portfolios become easier to oversee.

Solved challenges faced during creating the methodology staying behind “PEAK” and coded short python scripts to accelerate our team work. Optimized data cleaning before modeling and accelerated the communication between data scientists and the operation team. Improved utility scale PV Site revenues after on site visits in coordination with plant managers and service technicians. Improved reporting for managed PV plants by reducing the effort and time needed to more than 50%.

Prepared and reviewed engineering specifications, scopes of work, schedules of payments and other documents. Gained customer acceptance by demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements. Analysed grid codes, wrote function specifications, commissioning and tuned over 15 Power plant controllers successfully. Mentored and trained junior engineers of the new office in Japan and the USA. Maintained, debugged and optimized automation programs (IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5 DNP3, Modbus).

Worked on solar thermal collectors. Performed inspections on pipes and sensors. Quality checked Water heaters and storage tanks to verify functionality and performance against targets. Test solar collectors according to the DIN 9806. Calibrated temperature sensors, irradiation sensors and other equipment according to standard procedures. Conducted cost-effective experiments with prototypes, documented results and delivered presentation to peers and professor.
