Designed AUV mechanical components and assemblies from concept to manufacturing using 3D CAD, drawings, and documentation. Developed frames, enclosures, brackets, and mounts; selected materials based on strength, weight, corrosion resistance, conditions, and cost. Applied DFM to optimize machining, fabrication, prototyping, and assembly. Analyzed structural strength and loads, improved tolerances, and collaborated with engineering teams to deliver reliable, practical, and cost-effective designs.

Created 2D/3D models and assembly drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit. Designed HVAC, plumbing, and water supply systems; performed HAP/manual load calculations, pipe sizing, and pump selection. Conducted engineering calculations, tolerance checks, and material selection. Prepared BOMs, collaborated with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and site teams, verified installations against ASHRAE/ISO standards, resolved issues, reduced costs, and automated workflows for accuracy and efficiency.

Gained practical experience with SolidWorks and Revit for engineering design. Calculated heating and cooling loads using manual methods and HAP software. Designed firefighting and domestic water networks, selected suitable materials based on project requirements, and prepared HVAC Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support procurement, installation, and project execution.

Completed a three-month Design Engineering internship, gaining practical exposure to design, manufacturing, and assembly operations. Contributed to the “Redesign Engine Rework Area” project, supporting engineering activities and process improvement initiatives.

Assisted in designing and analyzing mechanical components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Supported production process optimization and quality control, conducted technical research, and prepared engineering reports to support material selection and cost-effective design solutions.
