- Perform preliminary design - Complete detail/assembly designs and packaging - Feasibility analysis in coordination with manufacturing service and suppliers - Participate in FMEA design and resolve technical design conflicts and look for main causes - Field engineering team support through regular visits to our manufacturing plant in Frankfurt Oder and suppliers in Taiwan - Design project planning and follow up from primary design review to prototyping and customer validation

- Processing data: Development of a numerical methodology in order to process the patterns produced by the x-ray diffraction in the duplex steel. - Sensitivity analysis: Modeling of errors due to experimental assembly. - Programming with MATHEMATICA and analysis of the results: Automated processing of diffraction patterns and calculation of the stress and strain fields. Generating a database containing the calculation results and the evolution graphs of stress and strain field.

- Analysis of the existing situation of the workstations forming the buses assembly chain. - Monitoring of Assembly operations and study of their chaining according to assembly constraints. - Optimization of the production line parameters: balancing rate, production rate, labor times... - Balancing of assembly line, improving the layout of the work areas and optimizing traffic flows.
