Added responsibility in the Indesit FW Platform Team and of the FW Offshore Team created in China to assist in the development of the User interface boards. In the procedure improvement we introduced the LEAN method to the FW development activities both in terms of the allocation management of the developments and in the Program Management for the management of the basket project. Introduction of the V-MODEL to better manage the new standards format as per the IEC 60335 rev 5 that is currently being defined

IDD Division (Innovation & Digital Design). In charge of the FW Development Team, management of FW development for both control board and User Interface (Board) for household appliances (Washing Machine, Wash & Dry Machine, Dryer, Dishwasher, Ovens, Hobs, Hoods). Management of internal development team. Management of the inshore Outsourcing in white box mode. Project Management duties.

DD Division (Innovation & Digital Design) In charge of the development team for the FW of the User Interface (Washing Machine, Wash&Dry Machine, Dryer, Dishwasher, Ovens, Hobs, Hoods). Management of internal development team. Scouting and deploy duties, development of Outsourcing inshore white box mode. Management of requisites, technical specifications, DAE. Feedback management from the IDD Quality field. Roles and duties in Project management, Team management, introduction of tools and SQA procedures.

EDT Division (Electronic Development Team). Collation of requisites, specifications and architectural design. Management of DAM (FMEA, DFMEA), co-ordination with certification entities for the FW certification according to the IEC 60730 and IEC 60335 and details in the appliances field. Introduction of touch sensing logic in the User Interface area. Project Management.

In charge of the design of the electronic controls for the boiler both in terms of electronics and electrical aspects. Management of external supply of subsystems, product engineering, FMEA, support project for plant equipment in relation to technicians, support for user Claim Service, training for sales force and technicians. Support for the electronic design of room air-conditioning controls (control box using solar, geothermal, pellets and chrono-thermostats) for installation by qualified technicians.

Definition of the FW architecture of the FW platform Control Board & User Interface Board. Role of guaranteeing the standardization and the reusability (to attain efficiency in terms of time, costs and improvement of product quality for the final FW) of the FW modules cross section to the product lines (Washing Machine, Wash & Dry Machine, Dryer, Dishwasher, Ovens, Hobs, Hoods). Co-ordinating the Platform Team to reach the project plan assigned goal, introduction of the SQA procedures .

Business Strategy. Marketing & Business Partner Program Division. Project Master MBA: “Business Plan – Home Automation”, Marketing area. Analysis of the competitive scenario and the Home Automation market, the defining of the Business Model to complete the product range to be developed and the marketing strategy to be carried out in order to meet the objectives set by management as per the analysis aim.

SW Engineer at the IP/ATM Lab. (R&D), took part in the following projects: ISA IP/MPLS, ISA ATM and ISA PR-EA. Duties included analysis and development of software solutions for international projects.

Internship at the IP/ATM Lab (R&D). The aim of the traineeship was the study of the architecture and performance of the Network Processor and in particular the IBM’s NP4GS3. Being also the subject of my Degree Thesis.
