Press-fits are a preferred assembly technique for axle-hub-designs. However, many applications can also be found in high-tension sub-stations and airplane construction. The project's objective is the establishment of generally applicable design recommendations for the development of press-fits in high-voltage applications based on internal guidelines and state of the art literature.
