Tabas Coal Mine, one of the biggest coal deposits in the Middle East, is located in South Khorasan province; Iran. My main responsibilities were, all possible checking, controlling and creating probable changes in plant circuit keeping in mind the production goals of both quantity and quality. Controlling, problem solving and adjusting the process in order to achieve the best quality and quantity production level while minimizing coal loss in tailing line was as the major target while carrying out my duty.

Fadjr Mazinoo Coal Mine is a private owned company in Iran and contains anthracite coal. Besides the overall daily activity planning, I was responsible for the mining path of the pit activities; the positioning of the mining equipments, coal specification check, reporting the amount of coal and waste extraction and used explosive material on a monthly basis to Iranian Mining Engineering Organization. As project manager I was responsible for controlling the drilling & blasting contractors` procurement.

Miduk Copper Complex is an open pit mine with 0.2% copper cut of grade which includes an 800 t/h capacity enrichment plant. My M.Sc. thesis was a research at Miduk`s Copper Concentrator on SAGMill performance optimization to achieve lowest fine particles in SAGMill`s production and power draw. I did a separate experimental design on four variable parameters to simulate each parameter effect on its treatment. I also calculated some grinding parameters such as (SPI, BBMI, etc).

I did a free research on Dust’s Elemental Sulphur enrichment of Sarcheshmeh Copper Mine which is produced from stack’s melting factory via Flotation Method. I also researched on dust’s milling and elemental sulphur separation which is used at sulphuric acid plants. Furthermore, I tried to predict dust’s milling behaviour and mill’s power draw.
