I work in the Antenna Web Server team. It's a powerful tool for building web applications geared towards mobile devices. I express requirements in plain, though detailed English documents and implement them in a combination of server-side Java, and carefully tuned, platform-specific HTML, CSS and Javascript on the client-side.

I worked for the Programming Languages Group at the Department of Computer Science, within the 'JavaGI' project. It is an extension of Java that raises the expressivity and usefulness of the interfaces to a new level (GI stands for 'generalized interfaces'). When I came in, there was a working compiler prototype. My job was to develop an Eclipse-based IDE for it, drawing inspirations from the Java Development Tools. http://www.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/~wehr/javagi/

August 2008 – December 2008 (5 months)Kraków Area, Poland Work in a team responsible for the Tivoli Common Reporting product. My tasks involve design and development of tools for BIRT reports processing and support for report designers.

Worked with Application and Integration Middleware Software. My task was to analyze, design and develop a BPEL-based implementation of a VDA (Verein Deutscher Automobilindustrie) specification of the Engineering Change Request process. I used the IBM Websphere infrastructure. The internship ended with a presentation of a prototype on the OMG PLM Services Information Day in Darmstadt.

Worked in the Product-Line Architectures Department. My work encompassed activities in requirements specification and architecture design in the Software Configuration Management domain. I developed a prototype of the Object Model (based on the Eclipse Modelling Framework), for a next-generation SCM-server integrating common version-control functionality with a state-of-the-art architecture analysis and visualization tool.

Created a web-based administration front-end for a distributed log-gathering system. The work I participated in, during the internship, evolved later into a new version of the Comarch CentralLog product.
