As a communications specialist, consulted with clients to solve marketing and PR challenges. Client included World Bank, OSCE, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, and the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue. Have spoken to community groups on social media engagement.

§ Taught journalism, social engagement, interpersonal communication and speech classes. § Presented my research on social media in Syria (2011) at a Media Trends conference in Geneva. § Organized three-day international media conference in 2015 attended by more than 200 people.

As a reporter with extensive experience, I've covered the financial and pharmaceutical sectors for top tier publications including New York Times, Private Banker International and, most recently, the Financial Times. In Austria I primarily worked with Deutsche Welle and Columbia Journalism Review.

• Crafted crisis communications plan when GM Europe closed a plant in Antwerp. • Created long-term product communication strategies and key messages for managers. • Helped devise and implement rollout plan for the Insignia, named European Car of the Year 2009. • Oversaw the production of PR materials and expanded the use of social media.
