• Produced videos, photos and articles documenting the work of a children’s rights NGO in West Africa, such as a micro-finance project for youth in Freetown and an emergency education project for Ivorian child refugees in Liberia. • Contributed to a TV story aired on Deutsche Welle and a photo story published on Al Jazeera

• Researched complex political issues under tight deadlines and condensed them into short and concise news items. • Covered major news stories including the Haiti earthquake, two US elections, and the Gulf oil spill. • Planned and organised stories; identified, booked, and interviewed protagonists. • Handled logistics, such as filming permits, travel itineraries, and credentials.

• Responsible for the Embassy's website and weekly newsletter. • Participated in the planning and implementation of events and official visits. • Prepared speaking points and monitored US media coverage of Denmark.

• Intern at the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training (ADST). • Produced material to train American diplomats prior to deployments abroad. • Contributed to the ADST newsletter and assisted at events.
