Motivational events and caring for clients are two of my main responsibilities. While working with clients from different countries I have learned how to integrate myself and work with a multicultural team. The skills I have attained while working at Teamgeist have widened my horizon and will benefit me for my future career.

I had the pleasure to work for the Helmholtz Zentrum in Munich in a small team. I did literature research on the aspect of health before and after retirement and worked on the quality management of telephone interviews of a population-based study dealing with healthy aging. My tasks also enabled me to improve my Microsoft Office skills.

While working at ANAD e.V. as an intern, I was able to work with professionals in the field of nutrition, psychology and social work. I was given interesting and important tasks, where I could regularly communicate with and support children and young adults during their recovery process.

I organized fun activities with disabled children, giving their families some time off and also supervised one of them at school. Working with handicapped children is an experience I do not want to miss. I have learned that some disabled people have more joy and happiness to give than people who are not handicapped. There are ways to improve not only their quality of life but anyone’s and I’d love to take part in that process.

During my internship at a physiotherapy practice I learned how to independently complete tasks quickly and efficiently. I was active in the bookkeeping department as well as responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment rooms. Since I was able to sit in on patient treatments as well as fall-prevention in nursing homes, this voluntary internship intensified my interest in the field of health care.

During one winter season I was given the opportunity to gather vital experiences in the athletic-pedagogic field. At the ski school “Energy” in Munich I was able to work with Kindergarten children and teach them skills I have once learned. The children and I had a lot of fun, which lead to a pleasant atmosphere throughout. I enjoyed this job a lot, since I did not only learn pedagogical, but also teaching skills.
