• Undertook a comprehensive study examining the reasons why youth in northern Mali join violent rebel groups, and possible avenues to redress this

• Responsible for teaching multiple English as a Foreign Language classes in the West Bank for beginner English speakers

• Provided extensive background research and analysis on actors in emerging security situations, notably in the MENA region (with particular focus on Turkey and Syria)

• Worked as an integral member of an elite secretariat tasked with providing background information on science policy to an independent expert panel

Reported on and critiqued a diverse range of UN documents, activities and position papers; represented IPB at high-level conferences taking place at the UN Office in Geneva
