• Development of the €5.8 million Call offer for Future Internet- PPP 2013 with Fraunhofer Institute (Partner) • Design of the program, process and the budget allocation over 2 years • Active support with parallel projects with empathy mapping and user testing of online business ideas

• Developed an economic-model for Guatemala to select sector-specific value chains with highest economic impact and development potential. The model informed the decision to allocate a US$32 million loan  • Analyzed coffee, shrimp-aquaculture and tourism value chains, performed cost bar analysis for the national competitiveness report in Central America, quantitatively identified challenges and developed strategies to improve sector-specific competitiveness

• Assisted the minister during the transition period to implement new policies designed during the presidential campaign • Audited the offices of jurisdiction, internal control, international affairs and education in terms of budget, projects, and personnel. Result: major reallocation of budget (US$10 million) and personnel (50 people)  • Analyzed and prepared documentation for the Minister’s presentations, forums and speeches

• Contributed to the government plan for Colombia’s presidency 2010-2014 focusing on economic development • Designed new policies for the sectors of Housing, Energy, Environment and International Relations  • Worked with cross-functional teams that included experts, politicians, students and citizens • Developed key documentation with specific regional information for the candidate’s speeches and presentations

• Consulted with services to South American companies (mainly Energy sector) wishing to explore business opportunities in China • Participated in bids worth more than US$ 60 million for Oil & Gas pipelines • Designed and initiated implementation 5-year company expansion plan. Final result: break-even point in the second year, CEO shares sold at profit in January 2011

• Developed international trading agreements with governmental entities (CCPIT) and Pudong Government with South American companies and government entities that foster economic growth and development • Represented Colombia at trade and policy events in coordination with the Colombian Embassy in Beijing
