Founder of Astai Tech & Consulting, a Geneva-based boutique technology consultancy helping SMEs and international organizations translate AI and digital strategy into practical, deployable solutions. I lead executive advisory, AI strategy and governance, operating-model design, workflow automation and end-to-end technology delivery. We also provide executive coaching, leadership briefings and tailored training to help organizations build the capabilities required to adopt AI effectively and responsibly.

Led Gavi’s global Technology Delivery and Operations organization across Digital Products, Operations, Infrastructure, User Support, CMO and PMO, with a global delivery organization of 185 people. Key outcomes included technology operating-model transformation, 35% reduction of the Microsoft contract, approximately US$0.7M annual license savings, Gavi–UNICEF SAP integration eliminating 2,000+ hours of manual work annually, and participation in the definition of Gavi’s AI policy.

Designed and implemented an enterprise PMO and delivery-governance model during a major organizational transition, strengthening portfolio oversight, accountability and decision-making.

Established and led Wella’s global Digital PMO, governance and investment framework for a $35M digital portfolio across 100+ countries. Defined operating models, decision frameworks, strategic roadmaps and portfolio governance, strengthening alignment between technology investment and business priorities.

Transformed a 31-person international digital team supporting 25 countries into a high-performing Centre of Excellence, reducing costs by approximately CHF 1M. Subsequently established an additional Digital Performance Team in Portugal.

Led digital products and services supporting Digital Diplomacy and remote UN operations during COVID-19, including solutions used for major UN events such as COP26.

Managed CRM, conference technology, audiovisual and machine-learning speech-to-text initiatives, including the implementation and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and digital conference services.

Helped conceptualize and establish the WHO Innovation Hub and managed the evolution of WHO’s digital ecosystem of 80+ websites and 250,000+ pages.

Led software lifecycle, continuous-integration and distributed computing services supporting CERN and a network of European institutions. Managed services underlying scientific data-processing workflows and redesigned infrastructure using cloud technologies, reducing required resources by approximately 75%.

Worked on distributed computing and LHC control systems, combining software engineering, release management and deployment coordination across Java, Python, databases and SCADA environments.
