Managing our Service and AÜG Contracts based at the European Space Operations Centre (ESA-ESOC) comprising a team of 30+ space professionals. Ensuring the service provision and quality are maintained and aligned with Customer expectations through monitoring and managing the team members including the resolution of contractual issues and coordinating new hires with Space Recruitment and Human Resources. Supporting Serco (Space) Business Development.

Freelance from Dec 2011 and subsequently founded Integral-S UG in June 2013 then re-founded as Integral-S GmbH in June 2014. Offering Operations, engineering and management support to companies in the Aerospace (Space) Industry.

Reporting directly to the senior management this was a freelance consultancy support to Galileo operations management at DLR GfR mbH. A demanding and challenging role requiring a lot of in-house coordination, technical and management skills in order to manage the multiple projects and tasks to which I was assigned. Sub-project management and tender preparation were among the multiple roles I supported under the title of Operations Management Support over a period of 2.5 years.

Project Management and technical support to the department for automotive passive safety systems development.

Microgravity Experiment Research. Scientific and Engineering support to the preparation of the GeoFlow II microgravity fluid physics experiment before its deployment to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2011.

Support to the daily Operations of the 5 RapidEye Spaceacraft;

Senior Engineering support to the International Space Station (ISS) Columbus Operational Validation team and Columbus Control Centre (Col-CC) Management (Subcontracted by CAM-Systems GmbH).

Monitoring and commanding of up to eleven Communications Spacecraft on a 24-hour basis. Monitoring and configuration of up to 7 Ground Stations. Anomaly and contingency handling and resolution. Season Eclipse and yearly performance review and reporting. Launch and LEOP support.

Monitoring and commanding up to 4 Spacecraft on a 24/7/365 basis. (Subcontracted by Serco Services GmbH)

Industrial Image Processing Automation Technology Research and Development for 3 months. Providing support to Senior Engineers with Research and Development projects.

The position was a one-year internship within the department of Industrial Image Processing Automation Technology Research and Development at the Bosch Research Plant in Schwieberdingen. Providing support to R&D Engineers of the department and contributing to ongoing R&D projects.

Major subjects: Semiconductor Physics and Technology, Circuit Analysis, Lasers and Optics, Mathematics for physics. German Language and an Introduction to English Law (Contract and Tort) as options. Duration: 4 years including a final year project and an internship at Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany.

Units Studied: S102 A Science Foundation Course; S271 Discovering Physics - Classical and Quantum Physics and the nature of Light.

Electronic Ciruit Theory, Circuit Analysis and Testing.
