I am part of the scientific team of the project “Balkan Consuls: Extraterritorial Agents and the Making of the Modern State in Southeast Europe” funded by the National Scientific Program “VIHREN 2024”. The goal of the project is to illuminate the emergence and subsequent development of modern consular services in the Balkans over the span of the “long” nineteenth century, and to make its insights into Balkan history readily accessible to citizens and scholars alike.

From the beginning of 2025 I became part of the team of the project “Growing but not getting old: semantic and 3D technologies for the history of streets and buildings in Sofia”. The project focuses on research of the history of the city of Sofia in the period from the late 19th century to the middle of the 20th century and subsequent innovative dissemination of the results using contemporary technologies.

The project “Rediscovery, Preservation, and Promotion of Cultural and Historical Heritage in Eastern Macedonia” funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU programme. The aim of the project is to reveal the tourism potential of the Eastern Macedonia region by rediscovering its cultural and historical heritage and to support the green and digital transition in the field of tourism.

My Bulgarian history is an interactive map of Bulgaria where we all write and share our stories. The goal of the project is to collect and popularize good examples and unfamiliar stories from our past. We aim to provide an alternative view and understanding of history and, further on, to trace the Bulgarian impact on global history.
