Involved in multi-step synthesis of various isotopically (13C, 15N, 2H) labeled compounds which will be used as metabolic contrast agents to probe various diseases in their early stages by using Parahydrogen-induced polarization method.

During my Postdoctoral research work, I was involved in multi-steps syntheses of water-soluble nitroxide biradicals which are used for studying the structures of biopolymers by dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP).

Nycomed is a Norwegian pharmaceutical company who acquired by Takeda Pharmaceutical. Nycomed had a drug discovery research center at Mumbai, India. I was involved in the syntheses of new chemical entities (NCE's) for in vitro and in vivo screening (Patents published: WO 2009/118296 A2 and US 9073913 B2 on anti-cancer drug development). Apart from this project, I worked in different drug discovery research areas from "hit to lead" drug development stage.

Chembiotek Research International (currently "TCG Lifesciences Pvt. Limited") is a leading contract research (CRO) services company in the area of early drug discovery and development. Out of many clients that we had, I was one of the team member who was working for "Pfizer drug discovery center. " During this tenure, I have successfully finished several projects in timely manner which involved multi-step target oriented syntheses from mg to gm scale levels.

This is well recognized pharmaceutical company who is dealing with the large scale syntheses of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). During this period, I was involved in the feasibility and process development of a generic drug along with generating impurity profile during its synthesis. We carried out successfully validation batches on 100 kg levels and delivered a drug with USP standard grade having 99.8% purity.

During my Ph. D. research work, I worked on the syntheses of water-soluble nitroxide biradicals including carbon centered trityl radical that are useful for studying the structures of biopolymers by dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP). Apart from this, I prepared a library of compounds (15) which involved multi-step synthesis for their syntheses. These compounds were further tested against in-cell stability towards bio-reduction due to presence of ascorbic acid.
