My responsibilities in Godrej & Boyce are design and development of various industrial machines, some welding fixtures and SPM's using CAD tools like Solidworks and coordinating with assembly teams and manufacturing teams on regular intervals.

1. Design of various subsystems related to BIW Production Solutions 2. Design of Geo station fixtures 3. Design and detailing of handling grippers and process grippers using CATIA V5 R19. 4. Taking responsibility of creation of every sub assembly, checking it, proving it and making final BOM for Production. 5. Designing Grippers for synchronizing motions for various fabrication solutions. 6. Working on a fabrication and gluing process grippers and fixtures for Daimler – Mercedes Benz.

Some core areas where I was working are: Design, Manufacturing Process, GD&T, DFM, DFA, FMEA and Tolerance Stack Up Analysis. Working with Design and Detailing of various automation & material handling systems to satisfy the manufacturing standards and customer needs. Executing various Design optimization strategies to design critical parts using CAE tools. Handled huge automation assemblies containing around 1000 parts with the aid of tools like AutoCAD, Solid Edge and Solidworks.
