I am one of the Accountant at Samba Financial Group and believe it is important to add value to clients during the audit process which should not be seen as a pure compliance service. The audit process should allow the audit partner (accountant) to get under the skin of the business and spot opportunities for tax savings, improvements to the accounting and control systems, strategic improvements and risks that need mitigating.

I was hired to improve the flow and accuracy of the data making up the profit and loss statement. I revamped the accrual and prepayment processes and provided better analysis of both the margins and general profit and loss, as well as setting up divisional profit and loss statements for more accountability by the managers and their staff.
